Thisdocumentspecifiesthemethodofmeasuringtherealpartoftherelativepermittivityandlosstangentofsoliddielectric,compositeplate,engineeringplasticsandothermaterialsinthefrequencyrangeof20GHz~110GHzbyusingaconfocaltypeopenresonator.Themeasurementrangeoftherealpartoftherelativepermittivityisfrom2to30,andthemeasurementrangeoflosstangentisfrom0.0001to0.05.Thisstandardissuitableforthemeasurementoftherealpartoftherelativepermittivityandthelosstangentofsiliconoxide,aluminumoxide,aluminumnitride,zirconia,boronnitride,siliconcarbide,bariumtitanateandotherinorganicmaterials,printedcircuitboardsandotherorganic-inorganiccompositeboards,polytetrafluoroethylene,polystyreneandotherorganicengineeringplastics.Itisalsosuitableforothersimilarsoliddielectric,compositeplate,engineeringplasticmaterialanditsliquidcrystalpolymer,modifiedpolyimideandotherthinfilmsamples.
